I'VE NEVER SEEN SO MUCH SNOW!

We've finally arrived in resort! Nine hours on a coach!!
We had a good flight from Birmingham in the end with a very jolly Austrian pilot that chatted all the way!
On arrival at Innsbruck however, the rep told us we couldn't go the direct route to Cortina (2.5 hrs) because of avalanche risk! So, a detour of 6 hours (their estimation) was necessary. We got sandwiches for the journey then saw groups getting wine! (Why didn't we think of that?!!)
I may add some more detail tomorrow but right now, a bottle of Prosecco awaits - courtesy of our hosts, Inghams for winning the competition and a bowl of soup then bed! :-)
