Six nations!

We (us and some good friends) went to the first six nations match today at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

Took the train from Ludlow, arrived in plenty of time, ate nearly all the food we brought with us, got to our seats in bags of time, had to go and buy beer before the start, missed the fireworks because they had to change the barrel but got back to my seat for the kick off (it was close), shouted loudly, sang, had a generally fantastic time. Waited for over an hour in a queue outside the railway station in the biting cold wind and rain, then got back in time for espresso martinis.

Had a great day, and think we'll probably go back next year. Hope it's warmer!
