Authentic Hot Spring

A few years back the Japanese hotel industry was rocked by a scandal where some "hot spring" baths were not true hot springs and just treated tap water. The hotel we're staying at here in Nagano, called "Kokuya," has a glass bottom set into the floor showing the actual hot springs (pictured) running under the hotel. Can't get more genuine that that.
