Fresh Apple Cider

This afternoon my husband and I took a drive to enjoy the beautiful fall leaves (and lack of rain for the moment) and took off down to this beautiful old grist mill and covered bridge not far from our home. We were pleasantly surprised to find them quite busy there...making fresh cider! We stopped and asked if we could watch...they of course told us yes! Not only did we get to watch, get a wonderful explanation of the process, taste the cider and then were able to purchase some to take home! Nothing better that's for sure. What a wonderful start to what was a wonderful evening spent together!
