Bit of an emergency, jet lag blip this, as have done very little today except feel jet lagged. We are very lucky to be staying with a friend who lives in a British diplomatic compound in Yangon. It's the deputy ambassador's house, used for various official events and hence rather grand. An oasis of calm before we hit the road and a series of cheap hotels!
