Munambam ferry

Early morning well earlyish but already getting hot. We set off on our bikes and decided to do a loop of about 20kms . It was either the ferry first or last. We decided first as we were not sure if it would still be running later in the day. 4 rupees each to cross the water (about 4 pence!) Very few foreigners cross to the other side and everyone everywhere greeted us with a huge smile and a wave. We were even directed to a local tea and breakfast shop. We had already had our breakfast made by our neighbour (Chick pea curry and coconut cake Kaddala curry and Puttu) so we just had coffee but we will go back . he looked like he made great dosa ..and then back over a couple of bridges to complete the loop. I feel iike I could drink a gallon of fruit juice at the moment! Tea and water it is for now. Maybe a quiet day for the time ..
