The calm before the storm

Today started out with sunshine and blue skies, so after a quick trip to the vets for some arthritis treatment, me and Topper Dog went for a quick walk around the nearby lake. The water is very high and it was very windy, but with a pair of wellies and a thick scarf it was a very happy half hour.

Impossible to think that ten mins after getting home the sky turned black, the wind whipped itself up a notch, and there were storms for the rest of the day. February I had high hopes for you.. :-(
