the cloud trail

Today as the sun was shining brightly this morning loaded the mountain bike into the back of the new car - it fitted just, phew - drove off to Worthington to start the cloud trail

What a beautiful ride circling around the escarpment and then through the countryside before hitting the canal path just after the river Trent - i stopped short of derby and then turned back

The trent had burst its banks an awesome site and for a few miles i had the company of a lovely gentleman who cycled alongside me for a while with wonderful stories to tell

Good job I was properly attired I was covered in mud by the time I had finished
