Darling Bud of Feb

After the morning downpours blue sky appeared. Here it is reflected in the leaves of the rhododendron Firelight. Although it will be months before its spectacular blooms burst forth, its foliage and little yellow buds merit attention. I have applied polar coordinates treatment to emphasise its wonderful glossiness.
