I've been unable to fulfil my commitment to Blipfoto for the best part of two weeks, but I won't share the reasons — just a sort of apology to the Blip Community.

This morning at 'Coffee after Church' two of us were conversing about photography… Among many things, we finished up discussing what I think of as 'patterns found in creation', as a subject for pics.

So at home I grabbed camera, flash gun and a beautiful recent present from my wife of three-in-one-pot Notocactus specimens, and tried various close-up views, trying not so much to produce a decent 'record' of the cacti, but some sort of a pattern, seeing what various in and out of focus elements gave me.
