Kung Hey Fat Choi

London style! Apparently the largest celebration of Chinese New Year outside of China and easily believable given the crowds and mayhem there today. Quite an experience. Fun and mad and noisy and exciting to see a dragon and experience the usually fairly unassuming Chinatown taking centre stage in London's west end.

Didn't make it in the for the official parade as J finally had a football game. They won 3-1 and he scored 2 of them so came home a very happy boy. Anna and I had a quiet morning of domesticity culminating in a fine roast beef lunch.

Then madness.

And now home for a quiet evening before another week kicks off again. A good day of contrasts.
