For listening in …….

My very good Danish friend , Joanna , lent this to me at Christmas as I needed to do a spot of antenatal care. She is the best midwife that I have ever worked with and follows in the footsteps of her grandmother who was very highly regarded by the inhabitants of the town in Denmark where she lived . From the stories Joanna has told me I think people did as she suggested !
This foetal stethoscope belonged to Joannas grandmother .It is used for listening to the baby's heartbeat .The smaller end is placed over the shoulder region of the baby before it is born and the listener puts an ear to the other end. How special is that :))…..
