The Shiny Bench

I went to one of the Town Centre parks this morning. The one with shiny benches. Sunday in the park is always tricky for me. Everyone seems to be part of a family or with friends. Old couples, young couples, couples arguing, mums pushing prams, kids bawling their eyes out, people with their dogs....

I have got used to walking alone, no best friend, no dog. I don't have to try and keep up, I can go at my own pace. I can watch the ducks for as long as I like. I enjoyed the change of scene. But still....
