Woke up for a couple of hours at 3am 'cause Sam was up to watch the UFC. Took advantage of the time awake to do some emails.
Being awake through the night meant that once I got to sleep I was able to sleep in past 10am which is a rare occurance recently.

Went for lunch with Sam's dad and his wee sister to celebrate her getting accepted into Glasgow Uni. We'd never been to the Vintage before but have been meaning to for ages. Once we got there, we realised that we knew half the staff as they all used to work at the Caley Sample room. To say that the food was delicious would be an understatement. We'll definitely be making the trip across to the other side of town again soon.

Attempted to do some pram buying in John Lewis afterwards but there were too many customers and not enough sales advisers so we decided to come back another day.

Polished off the day with a few drinks in the Blue Blazer where we had a nice unscheduled catch up with some folks that we knew from way back when I worked at K.Jackson's whilst at art school. A good bit of gossip about faces from the past kept us there for far longer than we had planned.
