Running up that hill...

After a tough week these two cheeky so & so's proudly show off mine & their daddies Watford half marathon medals. With all the races we've done, including the marathons, this mornings Herts 13.2 miler was right up their with the toughest. Up & down hills and through flooded roads it was a struggle but happy with the final time despite not running particularly fluently. The advantage with this race is the scenery. Beautiful countryside, supportive villages & the very exclusive Grove help ease the pain. Clearly it would be more enjoyable on a nice walk not a horrid race but there go. Reading half in a month so not time for rest.
