Happy Candlemass!

We had great excitement today using the new camera , so we made the most of the surprising sunshine and went on a bike ride around local villages.

It had to be snowdrops for Candlemass - I do think they are a beautiful flower.
There really was a feeling of spring today despite all the forecasts of gloom and doom.

Candlemass celebrates the renewal of light and the 'Still Point' between the two equinoxes - a very special time in the turning seasons of the year which has been celebrated for thousands of years and was an important Celtic fire festival. Have a good week everyone. :-)
