David Hume Mausoleum

I was early for a lunchtime meeting at St Andrews House, so I went for a wee stroll in the Old Calton Cemetry. This picture is of David Hume (1711–1776), historian and philosopher. Author of the Treatise of Human Nature he was a critical figure in the Scottish Enlightenment.
