Lone Tree

This tree is in the castle grounds, the park of a once stately home in Stornoway. It is the only significant area of deciduous woodland, however this lone fir stands alone atop a hill against the weather. I have decided that the weather will inspire my blog for the time being. We get plenty of weather here and it will be a challenge to capture to it. Today was calm with promise of a nice day, however the red morning sky warns of a stormy weekend.
