Day 33: A Super Day

The football field at Roxbury High School is snow covered and empty this evening, but that doesn't mean that football is not playing a major role in Roxbury High School's history today. In a few short hours members of the the Roxbury High School Marching Band will take the field with Bruno Mars, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and 4 other high school marching bands from New Jersey at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey during Super Bowl XLVIII's half time show.

Its an exciting day here in Roxbury and Mount Arlington. Some of the band members are friends and classmates of our children. Four of whom are scouts in my son's Boy Scout Troop. Congratulations to everyone in the band, your hard work and dedication to your craft is paying off today. Have a great time and wonderful experience.
