Bare Stair

When we bought the house, five years ago, the sitting room and stairs were both covered in this colourful and exuberantly patterned carpet. We got rid of the sitting room one when we turned the sitting room into the kitchen and now, finally, we have pulled up the one from the stairs!

Elsewhere on the house front we've had several hours of "fun" trying to thread a cable through a cavity wall! But we did it - success - a great sense of achievement although Mike, being the outside party, got frozen in the process! Oh, we know how to keep ourselves amused!
