Harbinger of Spring?

Guess this robin must have the wrong travel agent. Instead of being on his way to Florida, he was sitting on a tree branch in cold, windy Ohio. People usually think of robins as the first sign of Spring, but some of them seem to like cold weather.

I had a hard time deciding which of two pictures to blip today. This one of Winnie the Cockapoo was also a favorite. I called his name, and he whirled around and raced toward me. I like the sense of motion in this image. Winnie is named for Winston Churchill because his owner grew up in England.
