1 off the bucket list

Today I ventured closer to a beehive than I ever thought I would. Funny how you get these thoughts that make you wary of getting too close incase you get stung repeatedly. Anyhow I managed to avoid being stung and lived to tell the tale.
What did I learn?
Beehives are busy places - lots of coming and goings
I need to learn more about taking pictures of things that are moving - faster shutter speeds etc.
Don't be afraid of getting that little bit closer to the action- the zoom on my camera can only do so much.

I think I'll read up some more and then go back and see if I can make a difference- but tonight's blip is a start.
