Chinese Terracotta Soldiers

When we first arrived to look at these Chinese illuminated terracotta soldiers the quadrangle in the Old College was absolutely hooching with people despite the rain. We popped inside the Talbot Rice gallery to see the exhibition on the history of the Royal Edinburgh Hospital there and by the time we came out again it was positively pouring and few people were braving the elements. This is an in camera HDR so the people looked a bit ghostly and blurred whilst the terracotta soldier stand stock still. They were part of the Beijing Olympics celebrations and they have been brought to Edinburgh for the Chinese New Year. Thanks to Ladies M & F for showing me where to see them.
