Haputale
No, I have not just suddenly flown back to Cornwall...this was taken at Haputale, a tea plantation village, 5000 ft above sea level at the southern end of Sri Lanka's mountains. It was partially created by English tea planters there is a little Anglican church with their graves stone (and even Celtic crosses) testifying to their short life spans.
We arrived here yesterday with a bitter north wind blowing, making everything seem desolate and very cold.
