Nesting

Spent some time watching this heron flying from one tree top to another. It appeared to be dismantling one nest and rebuilding another, you may just be able to make out the twigs it's carrying! These pines are very tall and rather sparse and I'm surprised with all the storms that this would be a chosen site, there just doesn't seem to be enough shelter from the elements!
