Gavin's 1st 5K

Gavin's school passed out fliers for the Russ Miller Memorial 5K and he asked if he could do it. I'm never going to discourage him from trying things he's interested in. I was going to have him do it solo, but he has some anxiety sometimes, so I did it with him. I stayed by his side and encouraged him as much as I could. He passed up a number of friends as we were going and surprised me with a great time of 28 minutes, 52 seconds. He also had his first baseball practice and did quite well.
