Beauty in a shell....
On exceptionally low tides in Guernsey the delicacy known as Ormers are collected from rocks. This last weekend has been such a tide. The sea has been mountainous and when high has done some devastation to the coastal roads and there has been much coastal flooding. But these very high and low tides produce what for some people is a delicious feast. (I don't like them but my mum and Hubby do!) Here is a link for you to read about the Ormer! The inner of the shell is beautiful. This is not the prettiest I have seen but it's the only one I have at the moment!
