Testing the lights and background

Me and two of my women photography club were "hired" to photograph a big gathering close to our town. We photographed between 300 and 400 people when they arrived in their finest clothing.
That shot was to test the lights and to find out if we should use the red or the black background .... as you can see, the red was chosen :)
