Mushing

Our last day and final adventure, mushing with the dogs.

A female heads the team up front for four good reasons.

1. She is of course, more intelligent
2. She is a good listener
3. She can follow instructions
4. Male dogs will chase her without hesitation!

Apparently, they have tried females closer to the sled with the result of going off course as the males keep turning round to get nearer to her!

These spirited dogs seem to enjoy every moment of their day:

Will I get chosen for a run?
Wow it's my turn!
When are we off?
Let's go!
A roll in the snow.
Slurping snow.
Tongue lolling.

The only bit that gets a glare and a glance back:

Why have you put the breaks on?
