two happy couples

I loved this weekend.

Firstly it was a wedding, and weddings are always brilliant.

Secondly I got to hang out with 9 very good friends; we all met seven years ago and spent 4 months solid in each others company, so on the occasional annual meet up these days we have a fantastic time catching up and sharing stories. It's amazing that even though we met as teenagers we still have strong, tight friendships which are a blessing to all of us!

Thirdly I got to bring my wife to meet all the above mentioned friends. It was as if she'd always been one of the gang, cracking the jokes all day...

I like this photo because of the happiness of the bride and groom, but also because of the two guys behind them, just being themselves.
