Smashing

Only a wee bit of wind today but it shows the effect of the storm a few weeks back on my neighbour's garden wall. Waves punched a hole right through it, shifted the top half of the wall back by six inches. This is taken from our garden, the neighbour's wall was a pleasing curve before, now it has an unplanned wiggle and will all have to be replaced. If you go LARGE you can see the extent of the damage.

I hadn't see this neighbour since the New Year, she told me all the huge railway sleepers that formed their new deck and raised beds all got swept out through her neighbour's garden, ending up on the rocks of the new sea defences in the distance.

Don't know why I'm going on about it, have thought of blipping it many times when walking past but hadn't thought of this angle. It was not a day for going out if you didn't have to. Luckily I had to stay in for the plumber's final visit. Hurrah.
