Monday on the beach

There seemed to be a spectacular pink sky in the East of the city, which got my day off to a good start.

I was keen to capture it, but by the time I started to head out it was fading away. I drove down to Portobello beach, which felt like a really odd thing to do on a Monday morning, as I tried to rush into work to get on with the day.

It was still dark, so this seemed to be the best of the few shots I took.
