I saw the field of light by Mr Munro in St Andrew's Square, but instead decided to give you a lit lantern.

We came no where in the quiz. Failed to remember that Thomas Moore was beheaded or that Hemingway shot himself, failed to remember a single title by Margaret Drabble, failed to spot that the boy from St Cloud is a character from the Cider House Rules.

Never mind.
