St Lawrence's, Mereworth

This is the Grade I listed St Lawrence's at Mereworth (pronounced Merryworth). It's an astonishing Palladian building, 'unique among parish churches, with one of the most remarkable neo-classical interiors in Europe, designed like a roman basilica.' The interior is painted in troupe l'oiel, it was a tough choice which pic to use but I decided on the outside because I've been admiring the spire for years and that's why I finally got round to stopping in today.
