cloud dough

Try cloud dough, she says! It's easy to clean up, she says! ;-)

Great fun. 7 parts flour to 1 part baby oil with a generous spattering of glitter. Mix with fingers. Add two excitable children. Result = big mess! They loved it. Lily kept trying to eat it and no matter how many times she spat it out with a "pleurrgh", she still went back for more. Expect glittery nappies tomorrow, Karen! Dylan raced his cars and motorbikes in it, danced fairies in it, scooped it up with a digger and a pick up truck, poured it with teapot..then they both tried to build olaf the snowman. All good until trying to add a 'carrot nose' when the head would break in two. I'll get it out again later in the week but think next time we might play with it in the empty bath. Think the hoover has fallen out with me this week.

Had a busy morning as well - slingmeet with lots of mums and babies. Good to have a catch up, though as usual, never enough time to chat properly before I have to leave to get D to preschool. Lily was really brave today, I was really impressed that she wandered off to play by herself. She and Dylan enjoyed chasing each other on the ride on cars.
