It wasn't raining today!
So we were up and out and off to Fell Foot Park for a wander. On the way over we drove through rain and hail, but then it faired up and we were able to do a lap of the park in the freezing cold!
It was still fairly early when we'd finished up, so decided to pop a little bit further down the road to the Lakeland Motor Museum - I was going to link to this, but their website appears to be down! The museum was a fantastic way to pass a couple of hours. There was a quiz for children to do, which kept The Carmenator entertained and she got a plastic medal out of it at the end.
Oh, if you are a local, you get 50% off the entry fee!
The motor pictured is a 1937 Bentley 4 1/4 and apparently it was once owned by Donald Campbell (you look him up yourself if you don't know the name!)
