Syrup piece

Was struggling for a photo today, until this happened...

The bf had never had a syrup sandwich, I'm guessing it's maybe a scottish thing. I taught him how to heat the knife in his cup of tea so the syrup slips off the knife onto the bread. They've been gobbled up now and I feel sticky. So yummy though.
