Gesho Leaves

I had better photos today, but I wanted to show this one, in part so I would remember some Ethiopian culture.

You see these leaves are from the gesho plant, which are one of the ingredients for Ethiopia's famous honey wine – tej.

These leaves were laying out to dry on our way up to Yemrehane Christo – the cave church just outside of Lalibela.
