it started at 7am and didn't stop until 5.30pm. Different this time. Not the dry powdery drifts of recent weeks. This was heavy and wet. Covering everything in a coat of white, weighing down branches.
We went into town in the morning, exploring the snowy landscape, drying off in the coffee shop. In the afternoon we went around the block and built a snow-girl, Em's namesake.
