Local history remembered

During my wanderings today, I came across this statue that I'd never seen before. I usually drive out this way and it's a bit hidden from the road. After posting in the Wolverhampton Facebook group, I found out what it was and why it was there. Wolverhampton used to be an industrial stronghold, especially for motorcyles, apparently.
