" STUCK IN THE MIDDLE WITH YOU " -Gerry Rafferty.
These are my poor little pansy faces in the window boxes at the front of the house. And the wind today was very cold. You could almost see them tucking down next to each other.
Took Matthew back this morning, then limped the car round to Kwik Fit as I have been dealing with a slow puncture over the last week. Sure enough, after waiting what seemed to be forever, they confirmed it was a large stone. Probably picked it up on my journey from here to work as the roads are in a very bad state.
I saw Adrian this morning wandering through as Matty returned and he looks quite thin. We should get the blood test results soon and I'm obviously not in faith for bad news!!
By the time Phoebe and I got to work it was midday so was there for just over an hour. Sir is away as I've said, so will make the time up when we're busy. When he's away, I just have what we call 'hospital' jobs to do - boring. But Phoebe was very good. She lies quiety in her bed watching me answering the telephone and typing.
Caught up with ironing shirts this afternoon, boring but necessary. In fact generally kept busy.
We tried a quick rehearse this evening but my voice is still not strong and only end up with a sore throat. The antibiotics are now finished too - it has been going on too long!
Monday is nearly over, bad weather is on the way again for us over here so once again it's a case of head down and plough on.
Sending hugs to you all. Keep warm - Spring has to be around the corner, please.............
