Off to Belgium for 6 months

So I am writing about my 6 months in Belgium, Christmas at home, Morocco and Verbier with my Twinny whilst I am in Noosa staying with my cousins with my fractured ankle! I didn't keep a diary of the rest of my year out so thought I would add some of the things I did in as I have a lot of time on my hand as I am stuck on a sofa! (4/02/14)-date of starting to write this!

I au paired in Belgium for 6 months. My Mum and Aunt au paired for the same family when they were younger. I then looked after the next generation of children.
Looked after two very cute children called Emily and Jack. Jack was aged 2 went I first started and was 3 when I left. Emily was 1. They were both very sweet at times however they are a little spoilt so it could be very hard. Charlotte and Jean-Baptiste Ortman the parents are lovely. They have just built a new house right next to JB's Mothers house (where my Mum used to look after him and his sister). It is very modern with masses of glass. They have a cinema room down stairs.
I had my own room on the top floor with a huge double bed and an en-suite that had a slide door. It was very nice.
Irene is a lovely Indian lady who works for them. She has been working with them for some time now. She works her butt of for them all. It's sad as she is trying to get her papers so she is able to travel. She has a daughter that's in India that she had to leave with her sister to get money. She also has a alcoholic husband over there too. Feel very sorry for her.
