One man steel band

Anyone who lives in Brighton will have seen this smiling man who busks in the Pavilion Gardens with his steel drum. It is so pleasant to walk through these gardens and hear the rhythm of this background music. With a little imagination you could almost be in The Caribbean (ok a lot of imagination).
Today was my first day of trying to get fit. Therefore my friend and I went to The Prince Regent for an Aqua Dance Class.
We arrived a little early and, as one does, decided to have a cuppa before our exertions. However, we didn't notice the time and arrived at the class 10 minutes late. We were greeted by a formidable woman, with arms folded, who told us in no uncertain terms that we would not be allowed to participate as WE WERE LATE! I thought we were going to be asked to write lines as a punishment. So we did the "walk of shame" and indifferently splashed around in the larger pool, had a sauna and another coffee. My good intentions came to nought! Tomorrow is another day.
