Such a lovely day, even though tired after a late night getting the internet/telephone bit done. Will catch up hopefully on Blips tonight.

Although snow still lying where the sun doesn't get to, everything is screaming "Spring". So saddled up Rosie and did a nearly 2 hour very gentle, slow, peaceful ride with the dogs. Fair weather rider as I am, it was very pleasant without gloves opr wooly hat. Rosie was covered in sweat when we got back.

Met the forester who was marking trees for felling about 100m from the house. Managed to agree on what I should pay for the 2012/3 fire wood I pulled out. He also mentioned he wanted to fell the very high trees within 30m of the house and try to get the track from our house up to the main track "repaired" or better said useable. So that was a result. Should have Bliped his Dackel for Bevie - forgot, sorry.

Forester also has the hunting rights around our house but I suspect he doesn't let Dackel down the fox & badger sets - MrB told us recently no right minded owner would - a dackel is very independent and determined. Given the job he isn't likely to give up and foxes & badgers (who share the same set) can be awesome foes but just as bad the dackel is so determined he can get stuck and then has to be dug out.

Wish all a good Wednesday, although that doesn't extend to letting the British Isles send their rain & storms to us.
