Late afternoon sunshine after shower

This is one of my favourite perspectives from North Baljaffray over suburban Bearsden looking across to the north of Glasgow. I was contemplating an indoor picture today as I'd missed the window of opportunity earlier when the sun broke through briefly. However, after a late afternoon heavy downpour the low sun illuminated the refreshed cityscape. The white facades of the houses and flats complement the muted winter trees, and the retreating clouds and blue sky complete a pleasing outlook to the city and beyond.
