Scrabble and...

coffee with a new friend!

I haven't played scrabble for probably 10 or so years, not since my kids were young.....so when Rachael called and asked if i'd like to meet her for coffee and scrabble, i was a little unsure! But it was the perfect mix for getting to know a new friend.....I've met Rachael in many different social settings, she's lived here for awhile and is partners with one of Terry's best friends, Scott, and we've been talking about getting together, just the 2 of us, for sometime now!

We drank coffee, shared bits and pieces of our history as we took turns on the scrabble board.....then we headed off to the water front and had a lovely walk there - the sky was doing a most amazing dance!

I liked playing scrabble, and i'm thinking it'll only help improve my bad spelling and will likely beef out my vocabulary....pretty cool!
