A glimpse..
I'm sure there's the bottom of a Dolomite mountain there in the distance..
We didn't go any higher than this because of poor visibility. The runs below this point are all pretty easy so even in low cloud with your goggles snowed up you can feel safe enough to ski down! Last thing we'd want is to take the next chair up and find ourselves skiing a steep run without being able to see past the tips of our skis! (They were buried in powder most of the time anyway!)
Tomorrow, there's supposed to be a break in the snow - we may even get - wait for it - sun!!!!!!!
We'll believe it when we see it! Just for the snow to stop would be good - the sun would be a magnificent bonus!
We set off early this morning but a bendy bus had got stuck at the crossroads which meant nothing could move until they'd fitted it with snow chains! We were still on the chairlift by 9.30 and enjoying our first pit stop by 10.45!
We did quite a lot of skiing today. It was hard to see at times but a pretty good day all in all.
We may be going out to a nightclub tonight with a group from Devon that I met last year in Sol! Small world eh? Not sure the legs will stand too much dancing though!! ;-)
