Doha Days

Waiting for the valet parking to return the car outside one of the Five Star Hotels in downtown. Doha, I took two of my senior colleagues for, what is called here, a Businessman's Lunch. There were a few businesswomen lunching here too but the nomenclature is unlikely to change anytime soon given the male domination in this part of the world. The food was excellent. The all in lunch deal was very competitively priced. The lunch is served until 1600 each day. My two colleauges, on this occasion, were male!

My passport is still in the RP system. It is now only 48 hours until I hope to fly to Edinburgh. " No passport. No fly, sir! "
