Red Witch Hazel

In between my three classes at the gym, (in order to get super fit for our cycling holiday in Italy in June!) and housework, I popped into the garden this lunch time and took this quick shot. We bought this Witch Hazel to make some winter colour in the garden for Christmas and New Year 2012/3 when our daughter and her NZ husband came over for their English Wedding blessing. It was New Year's Eve. After the reception we had a New Year's eve party here which went on until the samall hours. I am absolutely sure that no one noticed this little shrub.
However, it looked lovely today!
