"Come Together"

Saw and heard a fantastic theatre concert this evening at Gasvaerket in Copenhagen. They had as the first theatre in the world got the authority to use The Beatles music, and they did it with brilliance! It was a surrealistic piece of musical theatre that had about everything! We laughed, cried, rocked or were simply astonished over this performance! 31 of Beatles´ great songs were rearranged in the most delicate way! The potential of the beatles´music was striking! Here was everything from an erotic country and western style "Happiness is a warm gun" to a heavy House style "Come together"! And the sight of two male heavy rocking guitarist swinging over our heads in medieval dresses riffing in a hard core version of "All you need is love" was priceless!

People!Where ever you are, go to Copenhagen! It runs until Januari 9th 2010!

Unfortunaltly we were not allowed to take photographs in the theatre, so here he is, placed up on one of the walls in the lobby - father McCartney - he must be pleased with this bunch indeed!
